About PAYCLASS
This file contains information about pay classes. Pay classes allow the grouping of pay summary groups for applying special edits or calculations to pay codes and deductions in the Payroll system. Pay summary groups are tied to pay classes in the Pay Class/Pay Sum Grp Relation file. Three pay classes are defined in HR00.1 (Company) for overtime, noncash, and tips. You can define additional pay classes in PR20.1 (Pay Class). The Time Accrual system uses pay classes to calculate accruals and establish plan entry requirements.
