About PR227

Run W-2 Parameter Report (PR227) to verify the parameters the Payrollapplication uses to create U.S. W-2 forms, Puerto Rico W-2 forms, and W-2 electronic files. When you select a company and reporting entity or process level on this form,the report created shows what parameters will be used when you run U.S.Territory W-2 Form Printing (PR252), W-2 Form Printing (PR297), and EFW2 File Creation (PR299) using the same company and reporting entity or process level. You define these parameters on Year End Parameters (PR27.1) and Tax AuthorityYear-End Parameters. IMPORTANT Lawson strongly recommends that you run PR227 to save and reviewthe parameters set up on Year End Parameters (PR27.1) and Tax Authority Year-End Parameters (PR27.2) for each PR252/PR297/PR299 job you run so you have a copy of the PR27 year end parameters. PR27 parameters do not print on these reports.
