About LP198

Run General Ledger Liability Update (LP198) to post Absence Management balances and transactions closed by Absence Plan Close (LP197) to General Ledger (GL) and Project Accounting (AC). **Processing Effect LP198 will: - Post Absence Management plan balances in reversing or non-reversing methods based on the GL rule on the plan structure. - Post only those Absence Management plan balances specified on the GL rule on the plan structure. - Update the transaction file with the General Ledger posting date for each transaction posted when running for non-reversing. Thus,subsequent LP198 jobs will not include transactions previously posted. - The liability for absence plan hours balances held at the position code level use position rules to determine what employee or position rate of pay to use when calculating the liability. - GL expense and accrual account defaulting use the position rules for absence plan balances held at the position code level. - Activity and account category defaulting use the position rules for absence plan balances held at the position code level.
