Requisition Center (RQC) error, “Error 23 – Product line PROD is secure.”

Problem Description:

User’s using shopping in Requisition Center (RQC) and getting the error, “Error 23 – Product line PROD is secure.”

 

Resolution:

These errors can be due to the user not having a GEN user record in Lawson Security. Any user with an identity for the environment named service must have a GEN user record to function properly. An environment named service identity is used for auditing purposes in RQC.

A user must have an Operating System ID (OSID) in order to add the environment named service identity
After adding the environment named service identity you must add the GEN user record.

In Infor Security Administrator (ISS):
1.  Log into ISS
2.  Search for the user who is having the issue and click on the open book icon to the right of the user’s name
3.  Click save. Add the product line and any other environmental information needed.
