ERP Change – Most of our customers have changed ERP systems and were only able to take 1-2 years of data to the new system. This is a very typical scenario because taking more than 2 years of history can prove to be very cumbersome. APIX hosts all the history in a lightweight, user accessible cloud environment for as long as necessary.
Sale or divestiture – In many cases, our clients have sold off and separated a part of their company into another entity. The new entity needs access to the historical data but does not necessarily want to take on the heavy cost of the legacy ERP application. APIX stores all the relevant historical data for the new entity without the need for the ERP system itself. Users will continue to have uninterrupted access to the historical data for as long as needed.
Termination – In cases where an entity is terminated, access to historical data may still be required for legal and compliance reasons. Q: Where does the data get stored?
A: We migrate 100% of your ERP data to your own AWS cloud. The data is stored in a relational database for as long as your business case requires.
Q: Is AWS our only option? Why?
A: Yes, at this time AWS is the only cloud platform for APIX. APIX is built on a serverless stack of technologies only available from AWS.
Q: How do users log into the APIX application?
A: APIX uses SAML integration with the client’s own Azure Active Directory. This means that users use their own network credentials to log into APIX. APIX does not store user information or passwords. This way, when a user leaves your organization, they automatically lose access to the APIX application.
Q: Can we access the data directly?
A: The database is hosted in your own AWS account. By default we limit the access to this data only through the application. However, if a client chooses to, they can provide users with direct database access for reporting and inquiry purposes. This access should be read-only access and may affect application performance.
What does APIX cost?
APIX is an enterprise solution, not a per-user SaaS tool. Projects typically include a one-time implementation and an annual license.
Typical implementation: ~$50K+
Annual licensing: ~$30K–$100K+ depending on scope.
