Linea Light Group Chooses Infor for Digital Transformation and to Centralize the Control of the Business
Professional LED lighting and design brand Linea Light Group has implemented Infor LN as part of a digital transformation strategy. The objective of the project, which was managed by Infor partner 2WS, was to redefine the group’s information processes for better business management of its individual branches for sales. Founded in 1976, with headquarters in the province of Treviso, Italy, Linea Light Group specializes in the design and production of lighting systems and solutions for indoor and outdoor environments, and is among the first European companies to specialize in LED technology. The previous ERP (enterprise resource planning) solution was disconnected from the various systems because the company needed to define a business management model common to all subsidiaries in order to harmonize operational activities in all foreign countries in line with the head office. Per the press release, Linea Light Group identified Infor LN as an ERP solution ideally suited to the needs of manufacturing companies. 2WS supported Linea Light Group throughout the decision-making and implementation phases of the project. The Infor LN implementation was based on the definition of core models, developed for each type of branch and agency in the group, according to their specific business needs. Future plans for Linea Light Group include optimizing the general model and evaluate the extension of Infor LN to other foreign branches and agencies, such as Dubai, Russia and Spain, as well as to the Italian commercial agencies in the group.
