About ML320
Run Ledger Consolidation File Creation (ML320) to rebuild the consolidation file that is used by Multi-Book Ledger and Report Writer to consolidate balances for reporting. The MLCONSOL (UNIX/Windows) or DBMLMCN (System i) file is maintained automatically by the Multi-Book Ledger application. This program is provided for use in the event of unusual circumstances. IMPORTANT For UNIX/Windows platforms: If the MLAMOUNTS, MLUNITS, or MLCUAMOUNT balances are corrupted, you must rebuild those file balances before you run this program. Use Ledger AMOUNTS, UNITS Rebuild (ML325) to rebuild MLAMOUNTS and MLUNITS balances. Use Ledger Report Currency Rebuild (ML327) to rebuild MLCUAMOUNT balances. Use Ledger Undistributed RE Rebuild (ML330) to rebuild retained earnings. IMPORTANT For System i platform: If the DBMLMLA, DBMLMLU, or DBMLMCA balances are corrupted, you must rebuild those file balances before you run this program. Use Ledger AMOUNTS, UNITS Rebuild (ML325) to rebuild DBMLMLA and DBMLMLU balances. Use Ledger Report Currency Rebuild (ML327) to rebuild DBMLMCA balances. Use Ledger Undistributed RE Rebuild (ML330) to rebuild retained earnings.
