These include BlockMedx for physicians and pharmacies to help increase security and accountability of prescription drugs; Dentacoin for the dental industry to make changes to directories, review board procedues, and payment systems; and Medicalchain, which uses blockchain technology to store and share health records securely, allowing for easy and safe transfer or sensitive information between providers and patients. These are just a few examples of the cryptocurrencies that could shake up the healthcare sector. If even a few become successful, the healthcare world in the years to come will make a dramatic transformation in technology.
