8 million have signed up for health care

On Thursday, President Barack Obama announced that 8 million people had signed up for health care. This beat his estimations of 7 million signing up. He later went on to say that 35% of those that had signed up were under the age of 35. That is crucial because the system relies on younger people to pay their premiums who might not actually need as much medical coverage as older Americans need.

This substantial figure will only help strengthen the Democrats position on affordable healthcare for all.
