About PR999
Run Payroll Year End Close (PR999) to close the payroll year. Run PR999 once a year, prior to running the first payroll cycle of a new calendar year. The program increments the Payroll Year field in the Company Payroll Information tab of HR00.1 (Company), and deletes withholding type arrears deductions. It also creates new pay period and work period dates for pay plans defined in PR21.1 (Pay Plan). **Process at a Glance For US and Canada, you process PR999 after the last payment in the payroll year for both options of Payroll Year Close and Pay Plan Update. This will update the Company US and Canada Payroll Year and delete Arrears Taxdeductions, along with create Pay Plan periods for the following Payroll Year.PR999 can be processed for selected Pay Plans. For UK, process PR999 after the last payment in the payroll year to create Pay Plan periods for the following Payroll Year. PR999 can beprocessed for selected Pay Plans.
