About AM310

Run Book Purge (AM310) to purge the book records for the selected book andcompany or company group from the Asset Management Asset Book (AMASTBOOK) (UNIX/Windows) or (DBAMASB) (System i) file. The purpose of this program is topurge book records that are not necessary. You must change the status of any book you want to purge to I (Inactive). If you select H (Historical) in the Purge field, only records flagged as historical are deleted. If you keep the default value A (All), all the book records are deleted for the company or company group. WARNING This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this program, back up the data according to your organization's procedures. Before you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.
