About Nogalis

Infor Lawson specialists since 2003.

Nogalis started in 2003 as a Lawson consulting practice. Implementations, upgrades, payroll go-lives at two in the morning. Over the next decade clients asked us to run Lawson for them, so we built a managed-support practice, and in 2014 Infor made us an Alliance Partner. By then we had been inside more Lawson environments than almost anyone.

Then the conversations changed. Clients were moving to Workday, Oracle Cloud, CloudSuite. Nobody was asking us to upgrade Lawson anymore. They were asking a harder question: what do we do with fifteen years of payroll, GL and AP history that the new system will not take, that auditors and attorneys and former employees will keep asking for, and that currently lives on servers nobody wants to own?

The available answers were bad. Keep the old servers running at $300,000 to $750,000 a year. Dump the tables into SQL and hope a DBA is around when the auditor calls. Or hand the data to an archive vendor who hosts it on their cloud and charges you to get it back.

So we built APIX. Serverless from day one, because we did not want to sell anyone another server. Deployed into the client’s own AWS account, because it is their data. Validated against production with automated checks, because “we think we got everything” is not something you say to a hospital.

Today that is most of what we do: retire legacy ERP systems, in about thirty days, for health systems, tribal and county governments, school districts, libraries and enterprises. We still run Lawson and CloudSuite for clients who are not ready to leave, and we still give our Lawson reference library away for free.

If you have a Lawson, PeopleSoft, Oracle or UKG system that is no longer the system of record but still the system of memory, we would like thirty minutes with you. We will tell you what the archive would contain and set up a demo on data like yours.

Timeline

2003

Founded in California

Nogalis starts as an Infor Lawson consulting practice: implementations, upgrades, and the unglamorous work of keeping payroll running.

2000s

Managed support

Clients ask us to run Lawson for them. We build a managed-support practice around monitoring, patching, and 24/7 support for Lawson and, later, CloudSuite.

2018

APIX

Every client migrating to Workday, Oracle Cloud or CloudSuite asks the same question: what do we do with fifteen years of history? We build APIX to answer it, serverless from day one.

2020s

SOC 2 Type 2

APIX is audited annually by Sensiba LLP. Security reviews at hospitals and public agencies stop being a negotiation.

Today

Frequently asked

What does Nogalis do?
Nogalis retires legacy ERP systems. Our product, APIX, archives 100% of an Infor Lawson, PeopleSoft, Oracle or UKG database into a serverless, SOC 2 Type 2 audited archive inside the customer’s own AWS account so the old application can be shut down. We also provide managed support for organizations still running Infor Lawson and CloudSuite.
