About PR262

Run Taxable Wage CSV (PR262) to create a CSV file with earnings, deductions, and payment data. This data can be used to recalculate taxable wages and balance the calculated amount to the actual payment data by tax authority. The calculated taxable wage can be compared to the actual taxable wagecalculated by PR140. You can report and research any differences: - Wages associated with the tax deduction (PYD-Wage-Amount) - Taxable wages associated with the tax deduction (PYD-Tax-Wages). - Excess wages associated with the tax deduction (PYD-Excess). - Tax amount associated with the tax deduction (PYD-Ded-Amt). - Gross Wages for a payment/report entity. - Wages defined as exempt from taxation on PR20.2. - Wages defined as exempt from taxation for this tax deduction on PR20.5. - Employee paid deductions defined as exempt from taxation on PR05. - Employee paid deductions defined as exempt for this tax deduction on PR05.2. - Employee paid deductions defined with tax status '06'. - Employee paid deductions defined with tax status '07, 08, 09, 10, 11'. - Employee paid deductions defined with tax status '12'. - Employee paid deductions defined with tax status '01, 02, 03, 04, 05'. - Employer paid deductions defined with tax status '01, 02, 03, 04, 05'. - Payment data (Check Date, Check Number). - Employee-paid deductions defined with tax status '20 and 21'. - Employer-paid deductions defined with tax status '20 and 21' that impactthe employee's taxable wages. - Employer-paid deductions defined with tax status '53 and 54' that impactthe employee's taxable wages. NOTE: The csv file created with PR262 is similar to csv file created with PayrollRegister (PR141). However the pretax amounts shown in this file are be the full wage and deduction amounts that were calculated in the Payroll application that MAY have affected taxable wages for each authority. The full wage/deduction amount for each possible pretax value is shown inthis csv file so that you can independently verify taxable wages for each authority. The csv file created by PR141 shows the amounts BSI has considered pretax and thus have affected the taxable wage values stored in Lawson.
