About IC38.1

Use Bin Reorder Policy (IC38.1) to replenish picking bins from larger storage bins. Use this form to update bin reorder policy information at a location. Reorder information defines the reorder method (Order Policy), when to reorder (Reorder Point), order calculation (Reorder Quantity Code), and the order quantity (Reorder Quantity). **Processing Effect The reorder information maintained on this form is used by IC138 (Bin Replenishment Report) to list item bins that need replenishing. This report calculates bin replenishment quantities and optionally creates unreleased bin transfer document(s).

More information: You can review, adjust (if necessary), and release bin transfer documents created in IC138 (Bin Replenishment Report) in IC90.1 (Detail Bin Transfer Entry). When you release transfer documents, items are transferred from the larger storage bin (Replenish From Bin) to the item's picking bin (Bin).
