IC190 (Closing) is a Lawson Inventory Control batch program. It updates CKPOINT, ICCOMPANY, ICHISTORY and ITEMLOC and references GLCGCPY, GLCPYGRP, ICACTIVITY, ICRECEIPTS, ICTRANS and ITEMMAST.
About IC190
Run Closing (IC190) to close out the current inventory period. This program captures period end balances and calculates the average stock-on-hand quantity for each Item Location record. This program does not close the general ledger period for inventory. If you are using subsystem control for the Inventory Control application, you must run IC199 (Subsystem Close) to close the subsystem period before the general ledger period can be closed in the General Ledger application. IMPORTANT Before running this program, make sure you release all transaction documents for the period and run IC130 (General Ledger Interface). Also, if you are closing the last period of the year, this program requires you to set up period end dates for new year. **Processing Effect Period end balances are used for analysis purposes on the following inventory reports: - IC152 (Movement Analysis - GMROI) - IC224 (Gross Margin Return on Investment) - IC134 (Inventory Turnover) - IC135 (Inventory Turnover by Issues)
