IC13.1 (Associated Items) is a Lawson Inventory Control online screen (form 13, subform 1). It updates ICITSUF and ITEMSUB and references ICUSRFLDEF, ITEMGROUP, ITEMMAST and POUSRFLDEF.
About IC13.1
Use Associated Items (IC13.1) to maintain a list of substitute and complementary item numbers for an item. Substitutions are informational in theInventory Control application. Four applications use substitute items: the Order Entry, Production Order, Requisitions, and Case Carts applications. Complementary items are used in the Order Entry application. **Processing Effect If there is insufficient stock on hand for an item being added to a Customer Order, and no valid Replacement item is defined, and a Substitute item has been defined on IC13, a message displays indicating that a substitute exists. If a valid replacement is designated for the original item, and sufficient SOHexists, the order is filled using the replacement item. If not, and a substitute item exists, a message displays.
More information: To fill an order when the original item is out of stock, select substitute items manually in the Order Entry application. You set up substitute items in Item Master (IC11.1) or Item Formats (IC10.1). To specify additional information about an associated item, click the associated More button.
