BN31.1
BN31.1 - Speed Benefit Entry

Use Speed Benefit Entry (BN31.1) to enroll multiple employees into plans. **Processing Effect To enroll in a plan, an employee must meet the plan's eligibilityrequirements, which are employee group and postal code. In addition, an employee's benefit start date must be equal to or later than the employee's eligibility date. An employee's eligibility date is based on the parameters defined in BN16.1 (Benefit Entry Rules). The application verifies eligibility requirements when you add the benefit. Before an employee enrolls in a benefit under a flex benefit plan, the employee must have a flex dollar record in BN45.1 (Employee Flex Dollars) in effect on the start date of the benefit. When you enroll an employee in a benefit plan, the Benefits application creates employee and company deductions for the employee in PR14.1 (Employee Deduction). The application uses the benefit's start and stop dates to control the deductions. For flex benefit plans, the application can create or update a standard time record for the employee in PR30.1 (Standard Time Record). Benefits are added based on the benefit process order that applies to the employee. Benefit process orders are defined in BN30.1 (Benefit Process Order).
