Methodist Hospitals recently selected Infor to achieve its goal of a clinically connected healthcare platform in the cloud. Per the press release, by automating key business processes, including its supply chain, HR and finance functions, and moving operations to a more modern cloud architecture solution, the community-based, not-for-profit health system will standardize and optimize across its health system to achieve strategic business goals and visions of providing the best possible care to the communities it serves. As long-time Infor customers, Methodist Hospitals chose again to partner with Infor for this project, knowing the tech giant will be able to consolidate information across the network and deliver financial data to decision makers that will improve budget management, cost reduction strategies and forecast accuracy. ProMedica Deploys Infor CloudSuite Healthcare to Reduce Complexity and Expand Focus on Patient Care

Alva Industries Chooses Infor CloudSuite Aerospace & Defense

Alva Industries has chosen Infor CloudSuite Aerospace & Defense as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system running on AWS, and will be implemented by consulting partner Midport Scandinavia. Since 2016, Alva Industries has established itself a visionary Norwegian company that develops electric motors and generators for electric propulsion applications. They also produce motors for the industrial drone market. Per the press release, Midport Scandinavia uses Infor’s implementation methodology where process owners at Alva Industries, together with Infor and Midport, go through the processes that end up with a fit/gap analysis. This means that the solution can largely be activated at an early stage in the process. Tommy Andersen, chief financial officer at Alva Industries, says of the collaboration, ” Both in the defense industry and aviation, there are strict and absolute requirements for subcontractors, and it is a clear advantage that Infor can deliver a cloud solution that satisfies these requirements.”

Zahid Tractor Turns to Infor for Digital Transformation

Infor announced in March that Zahid Tractor, a Saudi Arabia-based Zahid Group company that supplies construction machinery and commercial vehicles, is now using the tech company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) to streamline and gain visibility across all departments. Integrating to Infor M3 for Equipment will allow Zahid Tractor to continue its commitment to excellence in customer service and offerings across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s construction, transportation and rental sectors. Per the press release, Infor M3 met all the requirements stemming from interface-driven initiatives Zahid Tractor has with its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, which help increase supply chain visibility and improve service levels for their customers. This was a key prerequisite of the ERP solution for Zahid Tractor. The Infor M3 solution will be instrumental in helping Zahid Tractor tap high levels of growth in Saudi Arabia’s construction equipment market. Infor Wins Deal to Replace Legacy ERP for Elektroskandia Norway

Elektroskandia, one of Norway’s largest wholesalers in the trade electrical distribution market, is embarking on a digitalization journey and will streamline its operations with the help of Infor. Partnering with the tech giant will replace its existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with a modern, flexible and mobile business system, Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise, to accelerate with the company’s future goals. Elektoskandia needed to replace its old platform with an integrated, multi-tenant cloud-based ERP solution to gain even better control over business-critical processes throughout the value chain. Infor’s CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (and its alliance partner Columbus) was chosen over 14 other potential ERP suppliers to assist in this change, in part, for its lower total operating cost, lower implementation costs, and because the solution covers the needs of Elektroskandia. According to the plan, the solution will be in full operation during 2022 throughout Norway.

Russell Roof Tiles (RRT) recently extended its investment in Infor technology and completed its upgrade to a multi-tenant instance of Infor CloudSuite Industrial. With a cloud upgrade, this will provide the potential for RRT to reduce their budget within accounts administration and invoice processing, removing the need for third-party integration software. Per the press release, RRT has made substantial time savings throughout invoice filing and proof-of-delivery processes as well as enabling complete, remote customer access to orders and account information including computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.
