About PR129
Use Roth Initial Contribution Year (PR129) to run defined Roth plans thatcapture the initial contribution year for each Roth participant. To run PR129,you must use the Lawson Benefit module and tie your Roth deductions to BenefitPlan (BN15.1) DC or DB type of benefit plans. **Processing Effect PR129 creates an Employee Year-End Parameters (PR11.1) Roth initialcontribution year record containing the four-digit year. This record can be manually updated on PR11.1, if necessary.
More information: PR129 can be run as often as needed, but at the minimum should be runannually by clients using Lawson applications to produce form 1099-R filings with 1099-R Form Reporting (PR250), 1099-R Magnetic Media Report (PR251), and 1099-R Reporting (PR253). Distributions from a designated Roth account are reportable on form 1099-R and must include the "1st year of design. Roth contrib".
