AC30.2
AC30.2 - Multiple Pool Allocation

Use Multiple Pool Allocation (AC30.2) to define an allocation using more than one allocation pool. Multiple pool allocations can be used todistribute costs, revenues, hours or units to activities. INstead of assigning one pool to the entire allocation, you can identify a different pool for each activity to which the allocation should be posted. The percentage allocated to each activity is determined by a compute statement. A different compute statement can be used for each activity to which the allocation is posted. Examples of multiple pool allocations include: - Allocating fringe benefit costs to activities based on the ratio of each activity's labor costs to total labor costs for all activities in a project - Allocating overhead costs to projects owned by a given department based on the ratio of each activity's costs to total departmental costs
