Location Group

The Location Group file allows logical location groups to be set up. For an inventory location, other inventory locations can be associated with it in a specific sequence. For the Work Order system, location groups are set up in this file to define substitute locations that can be the inventory source of components when the component is not available at the normal inventory (production) location.

Identifies the AP company if the resource type = V. Identifies the HR company if the resource type = E. It is blank for type A, P or Q resources.
ILG-LOCATION
Element: Location		Alpha 5
This field contains a valid stocking location within the company inventory.
ILG-SEQ
Element: Seq		Numeric 3
This field contains the record sequence number.
ILG-SUB-LOCATION
Element: Location		Alpha 5
This is a substitute location for the location.
ILG-SYSTEM-CD
Element: System Cd		Alpha 2
The system code designates the system that uses this location group record.
