FIELD NAME DESCRIPTION/VALID VALUES UPDATED BY
OLD-DATA-MART-NAME
Element: Data Mart Name
Alpha 20 (Lower Case)
This field contains the name of the data mart.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IAAP.1
OLD-USER-DIM-NAME
Element: User Dimension Name
Alpha 50 (Lower Case)
The User Dimension Name is the name associated with the dimension in the data mart outline. This user-defined name can contain up to 50 alphanumeric characters. For example, you might name a dimension Fiscal Year or Organization.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IAAP.1
OLD-LAW-DIM-NAME
Lawson Dimension
Name
Alpha 50 (Lower Case)
The Lawson Dimension Name is the name of the Lawson defined dimension name. Instead of the User Dimension Name, this name is assigned by the Analytic Architect system and is used by the system that provides data to the Analytic Architect system. If a user changes the User Dimension Name, data sent to the data mart is unaffected.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IAAP.1
OLD-SEQUENCE-NBR
Element: Sequence Number
Numeric 4
The user-assigned sequence number to keep the records unique and to determine order.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IAAP.1
OLD-ALIAS-NAME
Element: Alias Name
Alpha 80 (Lower Case)
The Alias Name field contains an alias name for the dimension.
HC10.1 IAAP.1
OLD-DIMENSION-TYPE
Element: Dimension Type
Alpha 1
The Dimension Type field specifies the dimension owner. Value values are: L = Lawson U = User
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IAAP.1
OLD-DIMENSION-CAT
Element: Dimension Category
Alpha 1
The Dimension Category field specifies the category to be assigned to the dimension in the outline. Choose this category by the type of data that will populate the data mart. Dimension categories are predefined by the data mart. Categories specify the attributes for the dimension. These attributes affect how the data mart performs and stores data. Value values are: ~ = No category A = Accounts C = Currency T = Time Y = Country
" "
X = Attribute
HC10.1 IA15.1
IAAP.1
OLD-DENSITY-VALUE
Element: Density Value
Alpha 1
The Density Value field specifies whether the data in the dimension is dense or sparse. In a dense data mart, a relatively high percentage of the possible combinations (intersections) of all dimension members contain data values. In a sparse dimension, a higher percentage of the intersections have missing data. Valid values are: D = Dense; Default value. S = Sparse
HC10.1 IA15.1
IAAP.1
OLD-PROTECT-REBLD
Element: Static Dimension
Alpha 1
The Static Dimension field lets you prevent this dimension from being rebuilt when the rest of the outline is rebuilt. You can use this feature on static dimensions where members are not added, moved, or deleted on a regular basis. Valid values are: Y = Yes No = No; Default value.
IAAP.1
OLD-DIM-BUILD-DTE
Element: Dimension Build Date
Numeric 8 (yyyymmdd)
The Dimension Build Date field contains the most recent date that this dimension was updated in the outline. The date format used is YYYYMMDD.
IA10.2 IA120
IASV.2
OLD-DIM-BUILD-TME
Element: Dimension Build Time
Numeric 6 (hhmmss)
The Dimension Build Time field contains the most recent time that this dimension was updated in the outline. The time format used is HHMMSS.
IA10.2 IA120
IASV.2
OLD-OLD-DIM-NAME
Previous Dimension
Name
Alpha 50 (Lower Case)
The Previous Dimension Name field contains the previous user dimension name if the name was changed.
HC10.1
OLD-MODIFY-ALLOW
Element: Allow Modifications
Alpha 1
The Allow Modifications field determines whether modifications are allowed to the Dimension Category or Density Value fields. Changes to the Density Value field may cause data mart size and performance issues. Changes to the Dimension Category will require the outline to be rebuilt. Valid values are: Y = Yes; Default value. No = No
IA15.1 IAAP.1
OLD-NUMBER-OF-MBRS
Element: Number of Members
Numeric 7
The Number of Member field contains the actual number of members for the dimension in the outline.
OLD-DIM-OBJ-ID
Dimension Object
Identifier
Numeric 12
The Dimension Object Identifier field contains a unique numeric identifier assigned to the dimension, which associates this record to the member records.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IA300
IAAP.1
OLD-META-PROGRAM
Dimension Build
Program
Alpha 6
The Outline Build Program field contains the name of the program that the Analytic Architect system calls to supply the outline (description of the data) to the data mart. This may be the same program as the data values load program.
HC10.1 IA15.1
IA15.4 IAAP.1
OLD-META-FORMAT
Dimension Build
Source
Alpha 1
The Dimension Build Source file contains the value that represents the source for the dimension outline. Valid values are: 1 = Program; Default value. 2 = Rules File 3 = Manual
HC10.1 IA15.1
IAAP.1
OLD-META-FILE-PATH
Element: Path and File Name
Alpha 100 (Lower Case)
The Path and File Name field contains name of the text file that contains the data mart outline (description of the data) for the dimension. If a dimension build program is not specified, a text file and a rules file are required. The text file contains the outline and the rules file contains the outline build rules.
IA15.1 IA15.4
IAAP.1
OLD-RULES-FILE
Element: Rules File
Alpha 100 (Lower Case)
The Rules File field contains file name of the rules file to be used by the data mart. If a rules file is used, the data source is the file specified in the Data Source File field. The rules file is responsible for loading the data source file into the data mart. Both the rules file and the data source file must be placed in the $ARBORPATH/app/application name/database path before using IA120 (Data Mart Load).
IA15.1 IAAP.1
OLD-IA-OUTLINE-IND
Element: Retain Member List
Alpha 1
The Retain Member list field specifies the value that determines whether a list of members is retained in the Analytic Architect system when the data mart is created. This list of member names is used during the operand mapping process for the Performance Indicator suite.
M = Member
A = Member & Alias
N = No
