CWCONTRACT

Contracts are used in K12 school districts to manage and track employee employment records and drive an employee's pay for the contract year. This file contains the Employee Contract Base Assignment record defined by an employee's position.

The Effect Date will default from the Work Schedule's Work Start Date. A Pay Rate Change to the current Position will create a new contract segment for the employee contract master with a new Effect Date that aligns to the employee's position Effect Date. If the employee's Position Code and/or Work Schedule changes, a new Contract Master is created with a new Effect Date. The Work Start and End Date Range is used to count work days for the contract payout calculations.

This will default to the contract record from the employee position assignment. If the employee position changes a new contract record will be created that may contain a new schedule that will default to the contract record.
