This field identifies the book status. Valid values are: A = Active. I = Inactive.

Element: Convention
Alpha 2
The depreciation convention assigned to the book. This value is used to determine the first and last years' depreciation amounts to take. Valid values are: FM = Full Month. The asset receives a full month of depreciation during the month it is placed in service. The asset does not receive any depreciation for the month in which it is disposed of. HM = Modified Half Month. If the asset is placed in service during the first half of the month, it receives one full month of depreciation for its first month, and receives no depreciation for the month it is disposed of. If the asset is placed in service during the last half of the month, depreciation calculations begin the following month, and receives a full month of depreciation the month it is disposed of. MM = Mid Month. The asset receives one-half of one month's depreciation for the month it is placed in service and for the month it is disposed of. NM = Next Month. The asset receives a full month of depreciation the month after it is placed in service and the month it is disposed of. HY = Half Year. The asset receives one-half of a year's depreciation for the first and last year it is in service. MY = Modified Half Year. If the asset is placed in service before the midpoint of the year, it receives a full year's depreciation during its first year in service and no depreciation the year it is disposed of. If the asset is place in service after the midpoint of the year, depreciation calculations begin the following year, and the asset receives a full year's depreciation the year it is disposed of. FY = Full Year. The asset receives a full year's depreciation the year it is placed in service and no depreciation the year it is disposed of. AD = Actual Days. The asset receives depreciation for each day it is in service. MQ = Mid Quarter. The asset receives one-half of one quarter's depreciation for the quarter it is placed in service and for the quarter it is disposed of.

This is the object identifier. It is used to relate commitments or posted transactions back to the originating subsystems. Each subsystem record that is updated as a commitment or posted transaction is assigned an object identifier. The object identifier is maintained in the subsystem files and in the Activity Commitments Detail and Activity Transaction files. The object identifier is a unique key used to drill back from Activity Management to the subsystems.
