Activity GL Accounts

This file contains valid general ledger accounts in the Activity Management system. The file contains activity group, activity, account category, the account field, and account group, as well as beginning and ending values and an Include/Exclude flag. Activity Management system general ledger account records are created by AC07.1 (Account Assignment). All Lawson subsystems verify accounts in this file if general ledger account editing in Activity Management is specified. This file can be listed by running AC207 (Account Assignment Listing).

Required key. This is the activity for the general ledger accounts. The All Activities flag is valid. Use All to signify all activities in the activity group.

Required key. This is the account category for the general ledger accounts. The All Account Categories flag is valid. Use All to signify all account categories for the activity group and activity.
AGA-SEQ-NUMBER
Element: Sequence Number

Key field. This is the sequence number.
AGA-ACCT-FIELD
Element: Account Field
Numeric 1
Required. This field indicates the account field you are defining values for.
1 = Company
2 = Accounting Unit
3 = Account
4 = Sub Account

Include / Exclude
Flag
Alpha 1
Required. Select Include or Exclude to indicate whether the value or value range is included in or excluded from an account. List values and ranges to be excluded first.
I = Include
E = Exclude
AGA-BEG-VAL
Element: Beginning Value
Alpha 15
Required. Enter a beginning value that is valid for the account field you are defining. For example, if you select Accounting Unit in the Account field, the value in this field must be a valid accounting unit.
AGA-END-VAL
Element: Ending Value
Alpha 15
Optional. An ending value is only required if you define a range of more than one value. You can enter an ending value that is valid for the account field you are defining. For example, if you select Accounting Unit in the Account field, the value in this field must be a valid accounting unit.
AGA-ACCOUNT-GRP
Element: Account Group
Alpha 1
Required. Use the account group to group Account field definitions into groups of values and ranges that define conditions. Within an account group, all value and range criteria associated with the group must be met for the condition. An account only needs to meet the value and range criteria of one account group (although the account can meet criteria for more than one group).
